On the morning of May 3, PetroVietnam (PVN) held a conference of key officers to vote on the appointment of members of the Board members.
Attending the conference were representatives from Department of Organization and Personnel – Ministry of Industry and Trade, Party Committee of Party Central Committee.

On behalf of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, there is Mr. Tran Sy Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members; Mr. Nguyen Vu Truong Son, Deputy Secretary of the Party, General Director of the Group together with members of the Board of Management, Board of Directors, Group Controllers, leaders of socio-political organizations, comrades in the Executive Committee of the Group’s Party, the leaders of the member units, the leaders of the specialized departments / the Group Office. The conference is held online at two Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City landmarks.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of Board of Directors Tran Sy Thanh announced the results of the meeting in accordance with the process of introducing personnel to appoint the member of the Board Member. According to the highly agreed results of the meetings, the Party Committee and the leaders of the Group introduced Mr. Nguyen Hung Dung, Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Director of the Group to collect the votes of confidence at the rolling conference. The key board appoints the member of the Board of Management.
